Project Overview
This 2-bedroom Surfers Paradise apartment was renewed as a summer retreat for a semi-retired farming family. Raw Built Construction, the trusted apartment renovation contractor, carried out a full apartment remodelling based on the designer’s plans. The project upgraded tired interiors throughout, including the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and storage, while retaining the existing layout. The result is a durable, modern style apartment with thoughtful detailing, perfectly suited for relaxed family stays.
Designer-led spaces
- A unique kitchen with soft curved joinery and modern finishes became the centrepiece of the home
- Bathrooms and laundry were fully remodelled, following the designer’s plans to achieve a cohesive and contemporary look
Original tiles preserved
- The owners wished to keep the original tiled floors, requiring extra care throughout the 10-week build
- We protected the surfaces with foam underlay and MDF sheets, allowing safe movement of tools and materials without a single tile damaged
Built-in functionality
- New wardrobes were added to both bedrooms, maximising storage without compromising floor space
- Custom joinery added storage and created a consistent, streamlined look – an efficient design solution for apartment living
Body corporate strata approvals
- All works were planned around body corporate requirements, ensuring approvals were in place from the outset
- We carefully managed deliveries, waste removal and noise to minimise disruption to neighbours during construction.
